Getting to Secret Sumatra

The domestic flight to Sumatra leaves from Jakarta at 0800 (am) arrives at 0835 and you will be greeted at the airport in Sumatra by our friendly staff before you are taken on a 6hr journey thru the Sumatran wilderness to get to Secret Sumatra.

People coming from Bali

For anybody flying into Bali, we can book you on the 6:00am Batavia flight to JKT to make the connection to Sumatra (for an additional cost).

NOTE: If you are planning on connecting with the flight on the day of your travel to Sumatra (ie not overnight in Jakarta) you will need to catch a flight that gets you into Jakarta Airport prior to 05:30 to check in between 0600-0700 for a 0800 departure time. (see flight details above)

IMPORTANT: We usually dont recommend the above as there maybe delays with your incoming flight so we highly recommend overnighting somewhere close to the airport in Jakarta, so you have a good nights sleep and ready for the journey the next day.

The return flight from Sumatra arrives into JKT at 0940 (am).
